of this sort, particularly when highly appreciated, can have favorable tax benefits.

The California Environmental Rights Alliance is a project of
Community Partners. Community Partners serves as a fiscal sponsor for new and developing charitable organizations, particularly in disadvantaged communities of Southern California. Community Partners provides administrative services and training opportunities to these groups and is a non-profit charity exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
